I have had this headlamp for several years and think it is nearly the best thing since sliced bread. I have used it in the rain and snow- cleaning walkways and driveways at midnight during snow storms, helping people dig their cars out of snowbank on a car eating curve in front of my house , getting firewood. etc.. It casts a great light -a high illumination spot with a well illuminated cone for at least 70 feet and maybe beyond. I have put a lot of hours on it and have not had to replace the batteries yet. The counter balance of the battery pack in the back and light in the front makes it a comfortable light to wear. Easy to turn on with gloved fingers and change light intensities. Great light, good beam, and am very pleased with it.
