My husband at 54 is now a 44 waist or the last few years we have been looking for the perfect everyday khakis that do not look like grand-paw grump, he used to wear patagonia but we have not found a patagonia pant in his size and the columbia brand just does not fit him well even though he wears them.

A friend at work told me about these and I thought why not, well he loved them and I loved the quality.

The Teton was the best fit for a thick waist and hips basically a straight cut same waist as hips, he usually wears a 31 length but these in the 30 are perfect. I will say that he does not like his pants brushing the ground he likes them to sit on the tops of his shoe,if you like them brushing the ground in the back these are also the pants for you because they have a doubled fabric piece at the hem of the pant on the back side to keep them from fraying.

These are definitely not just a pant for middle aged men, my nephews 16 to 29 all wear these in different cuts and love them I just never thought they would make them in my husbands size.
