I purchased this item to replace the cassette that came with my Montague Paratrooper Pro. I noticed that my cassette would make a noise when it reached a certain point in its rotation and that I could feel more resistance in my pedals when I heard the noise. When I swapped these cassettes out the first thing I noticed was "wow thing is much lighter and looks cooler". After installing it on my mountain bike I felt a definite difference in smoothness of pedaling and shifting. I have about 500 miles on this cassette its still going strong. Great product and worthwhile upgrade.
