Aluminum construction is beefy, and it should take a beating much better then the plastic competitors on the market. I love the canted angle, as it makes reloading much more fluid from both top and bottom.

Two small gripes: It makes it more of a pain to take down the shotgun for cleaning, as it is screwed in to the receiver. Second; The shell retention is a recessed rubber tube (set laterally across all 6 slots) that is overly aggressive. A light coating of silicone lubricant eased it up, but it is still a bit tight for my tastes. Small complaints on an on an otherwise great piece of gear.
