PRO-TIP: If you read nothing else in this review, these do run small! I'm ~6', ~33" waist and the large is perfect for me.

Been gym climbing for years now; time to retire the harness I picked up when I started climbing back in 2007.

Went to the REI a few blocks away and checked out their selection of harnesses. Most were very big, heavy and bulky - not at all necessary for the kind of climbing I do (gym, top-rope, very very rarely lead). Following the sheet of REI recommendations, this was their 'Best' sport/gym harness. Strangely, they don't stock it so online I went :)

First impression: WOW is this light!

- While I've projected many routes with this harness, it definitely gets an A-/B+ for comfort. I felt like I could hang around in my old BD harness for hours. This... not so much. Absolutely A+ for racing up and down routes in the gym. I might not want to take this outside and multi-pitch.
- The lack of adjustability on the leg loops means you drop the weight and bulk of buckles and cording there, a downer for adjustability but a plus for size and weight.
- No rear loop to hang a chalk bag. Can't believe this omission, and a 0.5-star deduction. Time to whip out the belt on my chalk bag =/

Overall great, light harness. Would definitely buy this again.
