The bars were fairly easy to assemble and ended up being a better choice than going with the manufacturer roof bars. The cargo box we got wouldn't have been able to attach to the oem bars, but these were easy to move and adjust.

Getting everything setup is a breeze, and tightening the brackets down is simple. Once you have everything locked in place the bars are not going anywhere. I was very happy with how solid these things felt. The locks for each clamp slide on nicely and give a decent overall look to the unit. The lock will pretty much only keep honest people honest as they'd be easy to break off and grab the bars, but I don't think that's a huge worry.

The only con I have is that when they're not loaded they are very noisy. You'll get everything from standard wind noise to whistling when they're in place with an empty load. Putting the roof box up reduced the noise quite a bit.

Very happy with my purchase and would buy them again in a heartbeat.
