There are few choices for Ww2 airsoft replicas although with several new offerings things are getting better all the time. For M1 carbines a buyers only choice were gas powered guns which always have reliability issues and expensive magazines. This was priced low enough to take a risk. It technically is a Korean War and Vietnam War era M2 carbine as it has the bayonet lug and banana style magazine but beggars can't be choosers. It came in a nice box and looked better and felt more substantial then I expected. There are a few minor infidelities to its shape relative to an actual rifle but unless you place them side to side one isn't likely to notice. The magazine is hard to load and takes more effort then I'd like but it fires quite hard and fairly accurately. certainly better then most springers. The hop up is set for .20 gram and while adjustable isn't super precise. The barrel needed swabbing but once done it shot at 325 FPS with .20 gram BBs. It cocks easily and shoots consistently and reliability. it would be dramatically out gunned at an Airsoft Skirmish but gaming with it is not ENTIRELY out of the question. For the money it represent a good value.
