I've used the Penn 209's since the late 1970's to the mid 1980's and started fishing again. Bought this set up for a friend of mine to tackle Puget Sound salmon. The old 209's, are nicer, crisper, and smoother, but the new one wasn't bad. Was disappointed, asked me what fishing line, and there was not delivered. That can make a difference in the value. Disappointing to be ripped off like that.
