So, if you're ever experienced chamois chafing, strap abrasion, or soggy shorts, the Louis Garneau Pro Suit Men's Bib Shorts are the remedy to your triathlon woes. To perform in, and out of, the water, Louis Garneau made its Pro Suit Bib Shorts from a blend of materials, with each fabric playing a vital role in the tri-characteristics of the suit. Starting with the primary material, a jack-of-all-trades called Delfino, it features a dimpled mesh structure that efficiently breathes, wicks, and vents during your run or ride. And whether you're in the water or out of it, the fabric has incredible hydro and aerodynamic properties. Delfino also has slight compressive qualities for muscle support, and is resistant to chlorine for training in the pool. However, in the tri-arena, the largest benefit to this material is its resistance to water absorption. This means that you'll be drier, faster than the competition when it's time to jump in the saddle. To guarantee a full-range of movement, Garneau used the Carbon-X Mesh fabric on the rear of the thighs. This material is extremely malleable and promotes a better blood flow while supporting your muscles. In my opinion Louis Garneau triathlon and cycling clothing is the best on the market. Louis Garneau uses the power band around the thigh, which is way more comfortable than the silicone grippers. I am 5'8" and weigh 182. I ordered an XL and the fit is perfect. In addition to the power band, I like the 8" inseam on the Pro suit. Many other tri suits have 10" inseams, which are a little too long for me. The material is very smooth like a speed suit although this is not advertised as a speed suit. I also have a Pear Izumi Pro Speed suit that I like but the LG is a better fit. The PI is a little longer, has a 10 inch inseam, and silicone leg bands that may irritate your skin on the run.
