Dakine Womens Sequoia Glove 2013 Review

I just started snowboarding so I've ended up on the snow a lot, and needed to bind/rebind when I got stuck on the flats. These well-designed gloves have done a great job keeping me warm and dry. As far as fit, I have pretty small hands and a Small fits perfectly (I normally wear S in The North Face gloves if that helps). An XS would probably have worked too, but I couldn't find it in a store to try on.

Important note: I can put the liners on under wrist guards and still fit the outer gloves but it's a tight fit. I just leave the liner gloves off now that I'm using wrist guards. If you're planning on wearing both the liners and wrist guards, I'd suggest trying on the combination on in a store.

Pros & features:
- Completely waterproof
- Zipper pocket on each glove for inserting handwarmers
- Liner gloves are good for when you need more control of your fingers
- Nose wiper on the right glove thumb is great for my runny nose (there is a goggle wiper on the left glove thumb - it's just a wedge)
- Two sets of cinches, one at the wrist and one at the glove opening, keep snow out
- Can bind/unbind without taking the outer gloves off (it feels clunky but it is doable)

Feature requests:
- Wish both the wipers were nose wipers (I never need to wipe my goggles, but my nose is always running)
- Wish the liner gloves had those special fingertips so I could use my smartphone

Team Speedo Pro Backpack Review

I have three daughters who swim competetively. We have purchased 5 speedo pro backpacks over the past 5 years. The old ones are shabby, but not "broken" or torn at all. I purchased this one for one of my girls back in July- i only recently gave it to her. When I picked her up from practice today, she was so upset- her new Golden Girl speedo pro backpack side pocket had 7-8 zipper teeth gone! She didn't abuse the bag- in fact she took extra care with it since it's brand new. I sent an email to amazon. I'm hoping that they will send her a different backpack since the golden-girl is anything BUT golden! This is clearly a defective product. There are HUNDREDS of negative reviews out there on this identical issue. Then after getting special return clearence from Amazon they charged a restocking fee. This is the first time I have been dissapointed by Amazon's customer service. Defective products should not have restocking fees.

I've used scopes and red dots both, but until now I've never used a red dot magnifier. Wasnt too sure if it would line up correctly which it doesn't, but a 1/2" riser should do the trick, and the dark earth could be more earth and less dark! Doesnt match my TRX Battle rail or my Magpul stock which is suppose to be the same color. Overall, I feel like I made a smart buy here!

RYU Womens Onna Fight Short Xtra Small Black Review

I use these shorts for grappling, and they're fantastic. They're extremely stretchy with no restriction in movement, and don't feel heavy or stick all over you when they get wet. However, they do run pretty small.

I'm 5'6, 135 lbs, 27.5" waist, and 38" hips. I wear a Medium in any athletic shorts / pants. RYU's size chart on their website puts me as a size Small. I ordered a Medium in them anyway, and, while they fit me, I kind of wish I had ordered a Large. The Mediums sit on my hips right where the stock photo shows them on the model. I personally just like to wear things a little lower on my hips, but I can't budge these things down. They actually ride up around my bellybutton when rolling.

I do highly recommend the shorts though. They're extremely comfy and functional. Just order a size up from RYU's chart and you'll be happy.
