I received this jacket today from Amazon. I immediately put it on and I must say it is a cool looking jacket, which is the reason I bought it. I want to look cool so that satisfies the raison d'etre of my purchase. I next put on my gloves and hat and went out for a brief bike ride. It was 43 degrees Fahrenheit and I instantly noticed the chill through the arms of the jacket. This is no big deal to me because I still looked cool even though my arms were cold. But I usually wear windproof shells that keep the chill out and this jacket is not windproof. I guess if you are a Cat 6 racer who wears a lot of technical gear you'll be like "you idiot, cycling kit is supposed to breathe" to which I'm like, "aiyo, I know that but I got this to look cool when I'm pushing junk miles." So for what it's worth, this performs more like technical cycling gear, even though it is from the PI lifestyles line of garments.

One major issue here, this jacket is categorically NOT DENIM. I was expecting it to not, be based on other reviews so I'm not shocked and I still look cool wearing it which is the whole point. However it must be pointed out that the "denim bonded fleece" is 100% MALARKEY. Denim is by definition cotton twill. This jacket is 100% polyester. So I'm not sure what got lost in translation but the Bartlett jacket by Pearl Izumi is absolutely, positively NOT DENIM. They should really change their marketing of this polyester jacket that is in no way or part constructed of denim.

Bottom line: get this jacket strictly for looks. But the look of a polyester jacket. And it will not keep you warm like typical winter outerwear.
