Nemo Equipment 2011 Astro Air Short Sleeping Pad (Gray) Review

I recently upgraded from an old self inflatable Therm-A-Rest pad and am very happy. I would usually wake up very sore and had a hard time sleeping and wanted a thicker pad. This one is thick enough that I can comfortably sleep on my side. I was reluctant to get a purely air filled pad because I don't like the idea of having to blow it up after a long day of hiking, but it doesn't take very long and the extra comfort is well worth it. It packs down very small and is extremely light. I'm also very happy with the shorter length. I don't need cushion for my feet, and I'd rather save the extra weight and breath from my lungs. The built in pillow is also nice, it's not very big, but just enough that I don't need to use anything else with it. Its kept me warm so far on a 50 degree night, but I can't say for anything colder. It would be nice if they included an R-Value in the specifications.
