After reading reviews on this watch on several websites, I knew the largest complaint was the thermometer. The instructions say to take the temp., you need to take it off your arm and put it in a place out of direct sunlight for 20-30 minutes. Who in the hell wants to know the temp in the shade? So, I calibrated it while on my arm for a while (to warm up the case of the watch) and indoors, it is with in 2 degrees. In Oklahoma, the past 31 days, it's been over 100 degrees F and I hit the temp button and I've never seen it above 86. I do love the watch all in all. I like the display layout, weight, quality and options.
