I have had the Elvex 660 for a year now and find that reception if much better than Peltor work tunes. We are 17 miles from a major metro and FM reception is great. The stations lock in and there is virtually no static. I am buying the wife one now. We bought the Peltor digital, but the static encountered, ruined the music, so I sent them back. Her Peltor will go on ebay alone with my old Race tunes set that crapped out. The Elvex is better than any of these. I have yet to have any issues noted with other reviewers regarding damage.
