By pushing a button the seat flips from a vertical walking stick position to a horizontal seat. Four stars because of price. I bought this for PGR missions. I cannot stand for long periods and frequently need a cane for my hip. This met both needs. The seat is just a little too low-I was hoping to be able to lean on the seat and still appear to be standing. Sitting causes my knees to bend too much, but I do the best I can.
